About her
Machli is a tigress who has only just recently entered young adulthood. She is the daughter of Shere Khan from one of his various relationships with various tigresses in his territory, although he didn't really know of her existance and she only knows about him from her mother. Unlike her father, she is a kind animal and meets and befriends Mowgli, though she keeps the identity of her father of a secret. She knows that he is dead.
